first term

Hello classmates and teacher,

Well, the first term went very tired for me. I have eight subjects (methodology, evaluation, English, etc.) ; also with my classmates we went Dichato, all days to work hard, In Dichato there were not bedroom, bathroom, electricity, etc. The transport it was poor and I to be short of money. But, the most difficult for me went to separate of my son. We had activities for parents, children. Also, learnt much about the social education and the people are very wonderful, all had very grateful.

It was very difficult to organize the time for each thing (the class, the homework, the family, my boyfriend, my son, etc. ) Never have times for me, always say “tomorrow sleep long time” “tomorrow go shopping” “tomorrow go the hairdressing salon” etc., but finally never go.

In my free time…. I don’t have free time, maybe could be play and dancing with my son, see television, listen to music, go the birthday of my family and friends, read the goo book, also meeting with my friends every other week. I don’t practice any sport. I hope to practice some this term.

but I survived this semester so exhausting, but rewarding.

Bye

Suggest topics

Hello classmates and teacher,

I think blogs are a fun way to put into practice what they learn, because we write about things that happen in life and fantasies, etc. Although writing about a personal issue is often very complicated. I am not an expert in English, I have to search for multiple words in dictionary and Google and of course my writing or grammar is horrible. But, I think blogs are a good idea.

I suggest some topics that are very interesting and funny for my:

-Things I like me, for example: Movies, music (group, artist, style, etc.), art (photography, plastic art, sculpture, etc.), also about the careers: education, anthropology, psychology, and the principal persons in each area. Other idea is talk about holidays, for example birthday, new year, Christmas, etc.

Bye

The photo of my men

It was very difficult to choose one picture, because they always represent special moments, people shoot into their lives they want to remember for some or other reason. But finally chose this one, because there are two men I love most in life, my father and my son.
I have a very special relationship with my father, we are very close. Although he travels a lot, for example now in Punta Arenas for 3 months. He always understands me and gives me good advice, we like the same music and books, we share many passions. Is a very happy person, likes to sing and dace, always try to do all best. I admire him a lot.
He also has a very special connection with my child when my father comes home Jorge does not want to be with another person, spends all day with his grandfather. What a great time together. You can feel the love they have for each other.
And my son ..... of course it is a very important person for me I love him endlessly, keeps me busy, but it makes me happy.
They are the only people that make me feel quiet, at peace.
Another point: both have the same name JORGE.
I took this picture a day in the morning before my parents were to work, dressed to Jorge with the shirt that said “I am of the U like my grandfather”, I think it was in November 2008, I was still in my house , did not return to university.

When I am with them I miss them a lot, one protects me and I protects another. Will always want to be with them forever.

Paulo Freire

He was born on 19 of September, 1921 in Recife, Brazil. Freire knew poverty and hunger during the Great Depression of 1929, an experience that formed his concerns for the poor and to help build its educational perspective. He studied philosophy and psychology of language at the same time. He joined the legal bureaucracy but never practiced law, preferring to Portuguese classes in high school.

In 1946 Freire was appointed Director of Education and Culture Department of Social Services in the state of Pernambuco, the state of his hometown's capital. Working primarily among the poor who could not read or write, Freire began to take an unorthodox approach of what can be considered a variation of the theology of liberation. At that time, literacy was a requirement for voting in the Brazilian presidential elections. In 1961 he was appointed director of the Department of Cultural Extension of Recife University, and in 1962 had the first opportunity to apply his theories significantly, when they were taught to read and write to 300 workers in sugar cane plantations in such only 45 days. In response to these achievements, the Brazilian government approved the creation of thousands of cultural circles across the country. In 1964 a military coup ended the project: Freire was imprisoned as a traitor for 70 days. After a brief exile in Bolivia, Freire worked in Chile for five years for the Christian Democratic Movement for Agrarian Reform and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.

In 1967, Freire published his first book, Education as the practice of freedom. The book was well received, and was offered the post of visiting professor at Harvard University in 1969. The year before he wrote his famous book Pedagogy of the Oppressed, published in English and Spanish in 1970.
Is my favorite character of education and history because it brings criticism to the classroom, respect the autonomy of the student. It takes education beyond the classroom. Because education is a reflective process. HE IS THE BEST

the best gift the world

I have received very good gifts in my life, for example a song written by my boyfriend, a beautiful guitar, big hugs, clothing, a computer, musical instruments, records of my favorite bands, albums autographed by the artists, books, etc. When I was little everyone seemed to me good gifts, they were all cool, clothing, dolls, bikes all the presents were something I wanted to receive. But the most beautiful gifts I have received the last two birthdays and Christmas, they have been made by my son his name is George and makes the best pictures, cards and other crafts. Although he is the best gift in the world every day when I come home he greets me with a smile, a hug, a kiss in the morning we went to bed some time together to play or watch television (cartoons). But perhaps this is not an unusual gift or different from others, love actual handing me my child is the greatest gift the world.
